I was sitting at lunch in this room I usually go to, y'know, during lunch to sometimes sit and enjoy the peace and quiet. well today was diffrent, the kids come in and this man comes in with one of the girls. I'm sitting there drawing something for my art project; the man looks over and sees it, y'know, I was expecting a bit of the usual, "Oh! That's so great - you're very talented! How'd you learn to draw like that!" and not like... what happened next. well, the man sits down, is like all, "you're drawing anime!" kindda pronounces it wrong, so I politely correct him. I was surprised a man around his age knowing what anime is really. asks me if he can see some of my drawings. so y'know, being the nice person I am.. I let him.

he like, sees all my drawings and asks basically that same question - but he like, SEES my talent! like, literally sees it! he's like, all telling me about this stuff, how he wants to buy that same art project. how he can get me known and what not as an artist! he gives me ten dollars and a card with his number on it! I was like, "*gape* w--woah, what like... just went on!?"

man, I am so effin' fired up about this... but I have... a little fear, if I draw, give him my work so he can get me known - will my characters be stolen. he tells me if you put a copyright sign on a hand drawn work it is automatically copyrighted... I was like, "well don't you have to go through government papers to get things copyrighted?" and he's like, "no, all you just got to do is basically put the copyright sign on. and it's basically done." but he explained that basically for online works, that you have to, I suppose go through this website, get copyright stuffs.. pay a bit of money, then bam. you're set.

but seriously, it feels like I'm getting my big break, I just have to find a way to see the man again to... tell him my response. I worked so hard to get where I am... and this, people literally noticing my true talents.. just seems, almost unbelievable!
now I feel like I can draw... basically ANYTHING! like, these PRO pictures!

it's just so awsome!

and I also feel like Chii (from Chobits) when she gets her paycheck from the bakery, I too want to save this money.. for that someone special so we can go spend it together.
so that explains the picture, but in a diffrent context!
